Description
The Battery Stabilizer equalizes the state of charge of two series connected 12V batteries or several parallel series of connected batteries.
When the 24V battery system voltage exceeds 27V, the battery stabilizer will operate and compare the voltages of the two battery strings connected to the battery. The battery stabilizer will draw up to 1A from the battery (or paralleled batteries) with a higher voltage. The difference in charging current that will be created will ensure that all batteries will converge to the same state of charge.
If necessary, several stabilizers can be connected in parallel.
Battery A 48 V can be stabilized with three battery stabilizers.
